Honda To The Rescue

 Back in the day when 2 smokers were the GP bikes both Honda and Yamaha supplied customer engine race bikes as well as engines for chassis companies to do the final work, all to stuff the grids to keep racing healthy. Younger riders often started on these so called "B" teams and having good equipment meant good results which could help land that all sought after factory ride. Fast forward to the 2000's and arrival of the 4 strokes and all 4 Japanese companies along with 2 Italian ones were quickly designing new bikes to take advantage of the new rules. In the first era of motoGP you had 6 manufacturers(Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Ducati, Aprilia) and 4 different engine configurations(V5, V4, Inline 4, Inline 3), this was real prototype racing in years as the former 2 smokers were not necessarily trickling down the technology to the consumer world, thus lessening their importance to some people. Now we had all the relevant players in the biking world playing motoGP and the average race fan took notice. The races grew in huge numbers here in the States alone and for once my friends were wanting to go to the races, f-in newbs.
After a couple seasons it became apparent who was going to survive and who was not, after all racing is not cheap and racing prototypes is the most expensive way to do it. Aprilia would be the first factory to bail on the series and taking the inline 3 cylinder Cube with them, if memory serves well Suzuki would be next and the v4 GSVR would be gone to the museum. Kawasaki would pull the official plug after a Dorna injunction and the inline 4 Ninja would retire to the pagoda never to be seen again.
This would begin the new dark era  for motoGP and the grids have now lost 6 bikes, Ducati had satellite bikes by that time so for once in my lifetime half the grid was close to being Italian, if it wasn't for the satellite Yamahas that became a reality, but still the grids were lacking so somebody at the Dorna got the idea to allow hot rodded superbike engines in aftermarket chassis to run with the prototypes. These bikes could at times qualify high on the grid depending on weather conditions but on the average were well off the pace of the fastest prototypes and while it added to the grids it did little to add to the excitement of real world racing and as far a I know nobody was a great fan of the bikes nor the idea. Why couldn't Honda or Yamaha supply engines as in the past? I was not the only one asking this question but little in the way of quality answers ever seemed to come form Japan as the world still struggles with the economy and Japan still dealing even today with the after effects of the bad earthquake they had years a go.
Honda has finally stepped up to the plate with a customer GP bike, the RCV1000R, one that teams will purchase and not lease and this means more bikes on the grid that in the right hands can actually win a race, in maybe the right conditions. These bikes will not only really give the factory bikes a run for their money, after all who wants to sell perspective customers bikes that a rival can beat, but will really get the grid alive for the first time since the change to these environmental safe 4 stroke noise beasts.
Honda rocks for getting the bikes going and I would guess Yamaha will not want to be outdone so that might get them going as well, not too mention Suzuki plans a return to the grid in 2016 or something like that, Aprilia have made some kind of announcement but they are in financial trouble again so we will have to wait and see. Remember that old Honda saying? Honda, come ride with us. Thank you Honda for helping keep motoGP going, Nicky Hayden has got to be happy right about now...

Ever hear of the Pakistan Cyber Force? Hahahahaha, I know it sounds funny but I found this earlier today and have been laughing ever since(see the pic below). Muslim hatred of Jews is no big news and nothing surprising given the nature of the religion of Islam, but when a Pakistani tries to tie the Pope to Jews and drug cartels you have to ponder, wtf is wrong with people of Pakistan? Or is the person writing this stuff an American who is bummed out on Jews and wants to move to Pakistan?
So what gets Pakistani people so uppity about their country and hatred for Jews? After all this is the country that hid out Osama bin Laden and created the Taliban, you have to ask yourself how does a country that has mainly dirt roads have any room to talk? Nuclear bombs and the like are more important to Islamic nations than the well being of their people. Then they hate the Jews too, but why? Do Pakistanis really care about Palestinians? You know the Arab people that stole land long a go and call elsewhere home? Pakistan is pretty far removed from reality in most cases, unless it involves terrorism. Which makes you wonder in light of all the spying going on at the moment how much intel we got by possibly spying on these clowns?
Now lets go back to the Pope and his ties to the Jews. Apparently there is a drug cartel in Mexico called The Knights Templar Cartel, some call it a cult-cartel whatever the fuck that means, but to a certain Pakistani individual this means the Pope is in on the scam because cartel members are Catholic and we all know they hang with the Jews. Right? The Knights Templar were not a Jew club but a Christian military group that protected Christian Pilgrims in the Holy Land and sanctioned by the Catholic church, not the Jews. Now just how does a Pakistani roll Jews into all this? Revolution Or De-evolution?

This is the former American embassy in Iran, note the motorcycles parked out front, these are of early '70's design and most likely come from China. Iran is not capable of designing modern motorcycles yet they need nuclear energy and weapons, only the people suffer riding crap like that.
So for the younger visitors of this blog, history lessons in school leave this part out, but back in 1979 Iranian students who had supported the countries Islamic Revolution stormed our embassy and took 52 staff members hostage(November 4, 1979 to January 20, 1981) for a total of 444 days.
After the crisis had ended the walls of the embassy were painted up, as you see here in this picture. You see after this years United Nations gathering our President Obama did something no President since Jimmy Carter had done, and that is to call the President of Iran and to be quite honest I would have to research if Carter ever did make a call. In short the Iranian people did not like the fact their President took a phone call form ours, and they have sent a message to him. Now going back to the motorcycles pictured above, if the people of Iran had access to better bikes and no they do not have to be built there but at least give them modern bikes as so to develop new hobbies they might be less inclined to indulge in hateful behavior. It is an idea that will never happen because it is more important for the government of Iran to feed it's people full of bullshit rather than good times. Remember the Kawasaki saying from the '70's? "Let the good times roll", that will never happen in Iran.

For some reason I was absent from the news world and missed the shooting ordeal at LAX and have read about what the guy wrote before killing the TSA officer at the airport. Apparently he was angry about NWO, the boogeyman and who knows what else and stated he was a "pissed off patriot".

Machinima a couple years a go had a really cool YouTube series called "Bite Me", where zombies take over Los Angeles and wreak havoc after the President has a fence put up around the city to keep the zombies in, and then creates a "task force" to deal with the issue of the living dead.
This past Friday we did not have a zombie attack but President Obama did create a new task force after signing an executive order to fight climate change. The same climate change that Gore, the U.N. and a few others have been crying about, the same climate change where scientists were collectively asked to "increase the data importance" to reflect what could happen rather than what is happening.
The executive order stomps on states rights and the one state it will not affect is California. The reason being is this state is an EPA model and soon the laws that have wrecked our state will be in yours. Thank you Mr. President for tossing the country further down the fucking road.
If you are really worried about pollution Google "Beijing smog" and see what you get. Then look and see where we are compared to China in terms of pollution and be prepared to scratch your head. I lived in Los Angeles as a kid and on our worse day in the '70's it was never like China smog, never...

Ben Spies won the World Superbike title and a G.P. race, yes only 1 before retiring due to injuries suffered in a high speed get off. Matt Mladin would need a lot of luck getting out of the pits on a modern day motoGP bike. Calling Ben Spies a "fucking pussy" for retiring? Give me a break you worthless cretin, how about Casey Stoner jackass?
