Chores For The Masses

I have nothing but work to do; how do you spend your day off? I am a one man show and do everything here myself unless it is out of my mechanical range and then an expert is called in to handle the task. dropping my tax paperwork off and heading to the hot rod shop for a while, back later with lunch.

Nitro Burning Friday!

The Element is rolling on new wheel bearings and it is like driving on butter or Kim Kardashian's ass. It is Friday here in SoCal and after a week like this one, I need the weekend ASAP, are you ready too?
Syria is still ingesting itself, N. Korea has yet to attack S. Korea, Iran is still looking dumb but dangerous and Israel's angry neighbors have not changed their stance so we should all be good at least until the lunch hour. I plan on touring the world next year and South Korea sounds like a cool place to check out so I don't want anything happening to wreck those plans and in the bigger picture anyone getting hurt because of the nut leading the North.
I have to punch the pedal now and gas on out of here, rock on!

Pay Day And Stress Level Rising

Today the bank account has been rejuvenated but my Element will be in the shop and that will take a large chunk out like a white shark at a swim fest. Feeling somewhat better today although my stomach is on it's own schedule still and I have to keep an eye on it, or an ear.
This week has been very stressful for me and I am dealing with sleep issues and I am dragging ass already; coffee isn't stomach friendly but I am sipping it enjoying the robust flavor and keeping my fingers crossed. Time to kick the stand up and roll off into the world, rock on.

Hump Day And I Need Food

Sick As A Dog, With A Dog

Feeling less than zero at the moment and I have a new guard dog who isn't very mean, but at least he has a home. I will be staying home to make it secure for my new friend and resting up later. Rock on!

The World Gets Crazier

Syrian civil war takes a wicked turn and it sounds like chemical weapons were used, North Korea is still talking about nuking us and a college student in Florida gets his "mass murder" plans foiled. I am starting to wonder if the end times are just around the corner? If the pope does something bizarre in the next week remember what I said. If more people in the world listened to the Unknown Hinson we might not have these problems, possibly.
Worrying about the worlds issues will have to wait and I need to hit the shower, rock on!

First Day After The Weekend

Back to work and 3 more days until my bank account is back in action; my Element needs serious work and it will have to wait a couple more days and my lawnmower is not capable of mowing. This paycheck is smoked already and it has yet to arrive.
Sometimes I really hate Mondays and today my motivation factor is low but the time to roll out is here, rock on...

I was at the welding shop from 8:30 AM until 9:30 PM and my body is angry at me; yard work is on the menu today and we have fog so the time is right, back later.

Get In The Tank!

I need a new vehicle and a tank or Hummer would be good right about now; with gas prices the way they are a Fiat 500 or Scion would be a better option and at the end of the year I could see something like that in my driveway, next to the tank or APC.
The week is finally over and my sales have been skinny so next weeks check is looking slim, let's see what I can pile on today to fatten it up, Friday is generally slower. Designing a couple t-shirts that will be on the screen press soon and a website for an old bar I used to work at that was a landmark here in Riverside. I used to print shirts and aprons for the bar as well as manage it so a lot of the artwork is still here, my Loud Clutches(4000 + sold) shirts did extremely well and I have a better feeling about these.
Time to shower and dress for the day, rock on!

The Week Rolls On

Sales are down for me and next weeks pay check is looking slim; this will put a damper on any fandango that pops up. Our weather is bitchen right now with no rain in the forecast for the upcoming weekend which means the lawnmower will be gassed up and doing the deed. I don't need pythons or lions hiding in my yard so containment is imperative.
I did notice on my way to work yesterday that a Big 5 warehouse in my area has a huge banner hanging on it reading "NOW HIRING", last time I saw that there was in 2006. Interesting and encouraging, now if gas prices get to $3 we would be swinging like chimps on a holiday, doubt if that will happen but it sounds cool.

Horns And Hips! It Is Hump Day!

It is that time of the week my loyal visitors; how will you celebrate Hump Day? I plan on relaxing at lunch today with some potato salad and a couple frozen burritos. Eating at local fast food places will wreck your bank account faster than a rented blond in Vegas so I stash frozen stuff at the welding shop and go there for my lunch hour, not as much fun as a strip club but it is cheaper.
Iran is mad at Hollywood about the movie "Argo" and wants to sue somebody because the movie makes them look silly. Do they sell mirrors in Iran? In all honesty it is good a movie was made about something that is not taught in schools, having grown up during the Iran hostage crisis it amazes me how many Americans have no idea this event ever happened. The 70's were crazy times and I am not talking about bell bottoms and platform shoes, things like planes and cruise ships became targets for Islamic "freedom fighters"(terrorists), namely the PLO and their offshoots.
Time for me to launch the Wednesday cruise missile and all systems are go, rock on!

Twosday Atomik Muphin Worp Dryve

Drinking coffee and reading about Afghanistan's President making the statements that we are working with the Taliban to undermine his position and scratching my head on this one, this guy talks a lot of shit but this is on a whole new level. The moment we leave his head will be worth big money and he will have to worry about it and not us and as I type this I am hearing the a Blackhawk has gone down there and all 5 on board have died, we cannot get out of there soon enough.
Bike Week is coming up in Daytona and while I planned on attending this years event it will have to wait until next year when I can absolutely afford it and not have to worry about budgeting funds, sounds like I'm running a race team(again?), hahaha. NASCAR tv, Speed Channel, has ran our series into the ground with coverage that resembles racing from the 80's, from what I can tell they race at 5 tracks now, none in SoCal where bikes are a lifestyle and do I have to mention all the manufacturers are in this area, and the fact that the Daytona support races are held during the week makes for a crappy viewing schedule, NASCAR sucks and the Daytona Group that runs the AMA race series are idiots.
Time to fold the laundry and get out of the house, rock on!

Monday Morning Wake Up Call

Monday is here everybody and I am not prepared for this week yet; Saturday I was at the welding shop all day and Sunday was chore day, catching up on laundry and cleaning the patio took up most of my time and if the weather holds out I will be mowing in a day or two. It has been raining every weekend it seems and the ground is soft still making it tough for the mower to move in a timely fashion.
Time to get my butt in gear and head into work, rock on!

Freaky Friday

Last day of the work week is here and it is almost time to party it into the history books, just a few more hours and we will have this day in the rear view mirror as we drive to the nights fandango. I worked late helping a friend silkscreen shirts last night and didn't get home until 9 PM, but dinner was included along with a complimentary shirt, needless to say I feel like a zombie this morning and pounding the coffee like a mad man while I get ready for work. Rock on!

Pay Day Arrives

Best day of the week next to any Friday and that is pay day; today I see a kick ass lunch in my future and parts for my Element as the front end is making noise noise noise. Most likely this will be tackled Saturday to insure reliable transportation and not getting stranded in the wilds, can't be without a ride as public transportation here is not safe for white people who appear to have lives, sorry to say, but that is life here in SoCal.
Time to get on the gas and hit the pavement, rock on!

Hump Day Celebration

Hugo Chavez is dead and to be honest when I heard the news yesterday I was quite happy and relieved he was no longer breathing the same air as me. Fuck him. Work has been steady and tomorrow the gravy boat pulls into port; lunch is always kick ass on pay day here and I plan on eating like a viking come Thursday. A local sandwich shop gets my business 90% of the time when the bank account rises to useful levels and they have a kick ass BBQ steak job that is already making me hungry. Time to open the throttle and shower up, rock on!

North Korea Wakes Up Cranky

Tuesday here in SoCal and I am worried North Korea might re-start the war and fuck up the motoGP schedule, China and Japan most likely would not see their races happen which would be total bullshit but I doubt if they watch bike racing there(N. Korea) anyways, what would they be missing? Kim Jong Un needs a hobby that does not involve weapons.
My sales yesterday were pretty good and this is my pay week so life is rainbows and puppy dogs at the moment. We have been busy lately and last Friday we doubled what we have fallen to(in sales) since the economy took a tank. Gas prices are currently over $4.00 in this area yet again; nobody wants to waste that kind of money in the desert so dune business is down and we are having to find new markets to tackle. Time to hit the shower and make it happen. Rock on!

Monday Tantor Attack Mode - ON!

Worked late Friday and all day Saturday then proceeded to do nothing on Sunday except for a 3 hour round of Red Alert 2 - Yuris Revenge; I was a lazy bastard and I did not shave either. My chore list has grown as well as the lawn, the trash needs hauling out and the garage has stalled out.
Time to get dressed and hit the gas like an angry elephant on the road to ruin, rock on!

Worked all day Saturday and today I plan to do pretty much nothing; at least that is what I will claim and we will see how long that lasts.

Ready For The Weekend

Car wreck and a cold mucked up last weekends activities and I am ready to make stuff happen this coming two days off. The other car's insurance company was hassling me at 7 P.M. last night which put a lid on having a relaxing night before bed, Flo can fuck off. Nothing like a lippy claims agent grilling you at dinner time, ambush interviews are made to trip you up and this chick was sharp.

Drop The Hammer And Pin It, Hump Day!

Launch off the line people like you have the holeshot, horns up and hips flying it is hump day in SoCal; how is the middle of the week where you are? I have a cold that has dragged me down since Friday and today I feel like $79 and ready to hard charge the day. Business is up a little at work and yesterday I was buried with out going freight, if this momentum keeps up next week will be a good pay check.
Doing my taxes this Saturday and using the return money to get a plane ticket to visit my Mom and Step dad in New Mexico in the next month or two. It has been a few years since I last visited and with the economy and my Element giving me problems buying a ticket has been difficult, the new engine last year sucked my travel fund dry.
It is time to leave the line hard and hit the shower then split to the office desk, rock on!

Out of the sick bed and back into the real world; 3 days gone out of my life due to illness and I look like Gary Busey after a hard night of interviewing himself. Getting dressed in 5 and out the door in 15, kick ass and rock on!
